Scott T. Pollard concentrates his practice primarily on family law but also represents clients in general civil litigation and personal injury matters. Employing his 29 years of experience with families and the legal system, he relentlessly pursues the best resolutions for his clients. Scott frequently appears before Mecklenburg County’s Family Court bench representing clients on issues ranging from equitable distribution of property, alimony, and spousal support to child custody, child support, and the enforcement of court orders and settlements. He works with his clients to thoroughly prepare all aspects of their cases so they are comfortable with the legal process and all strategic decisions made in anticipation of settlement or trial. Scott often mediates his cases and routinely drafts complex Contracts of Separation and Property Settlement Agreements in addition to documents relating to the care, custody, and support of minor children.
