Gary L. Murphy’s practice is exclusively criminal defense in state and federal courts. He represents individual clients charged with every type of crime and traffic offense, from first-degree murder to DWIs and speeding tickets, and any type of white collar or drug offense. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Law, which means he has been evaluated by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization and his peers as having special knowledge, skill, and proficiency in criminal law. Gary was recognized in North Carolina Super Lawyers† (2009) as one of the top criminal defense attorneys in the state.
