Gentry Caudill joined the firm after his retirement as a Superior Court Judge. During his many years on the Bench, he presided over a wide range of civil and criminal cases including medical malpractice, personal injury, business disputes, capital murder and other violent crimes, traffic cases and driving while impaired.
Prior to going on the Bench, he was a trial lawyer and supervisor with the Mecklenburg County District Attorneys Office. He litigated the most serious cases and trained and supervised other prosecutors. He has been a lecturer at educational conferences for attorneys, law enforcement officers and judges. Gentry will join the firm's civil litigation and criminal defense practices and will continue to make his judicial skills available through mediations and arbitrations.
